Our Blue-Green Algae, Aphanizomenon flos-aqua, comes from the pristine waters of the Upper Klamath Lake. The algae is wild harvested and carefully handled so that it arrives at the drying facility alive and fresh, where it is then dried using a proprietary method of Bio-Active Dehydration, that uses temperatures no higher than 41 °C (106 ºF), to ensure complete preservation of the colour, flavour, aroma and nutritional content of the algae.
