Cafédirect’s Machu Picchu Organic Ground Coffee is a bold, beautifully balanced roast that captures the spirit of Peru’s mountainous landscape. Cultivated on the southeastern slopes of the Andes, where altitudes reach up to 2,200m, the rich biodiversity and cool climate allow Arabica trees to thrive. This slow growing environment creates beans of exceptional quality and depth.
The flavour opens with indulgent dark chocolate and roasted hazelnut, lifted by gentle citrus brightness and a touch of red fruit sweetness. Produced by over 290 smallholder farmers in the Huadquiña cooperative known for their pioneering organic farming this coffee represents the best of Peruvian craftsmanship and is one of the UK’s most-loved organic blends.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, reseal tightly to preserve freshness. Suitable for cafetières, filter brewers, and pour over methods.
Remember to:
Adjust grind size and brew time for your preferred strength and flavour profile.
Directions:
Use one rounded tablespoon (10g) of ground coffee per cup. Brew with freshly boiled water just off the boil (around 90–95°C) for 3–5 minutes, then pour and enjoy.
