Clearspring Organic Japanese Brown Rice Miso Paste is crafted using traditional methods and aged according to an old family recipe. Made from organic whole soybeans and cultured brown rice, this unpasteurised miso develops a deep, savoury flavour with a naturally rich umami profile. Ideal for miso soup, broths, sauces and dressings, it can also be used to enhance marinades or add depth to everyday dishes. Simply dissolve in a little water and add towards the end of cooking to enjoy its full flavour.

Remember to:
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Refrigerate after opening. As a live product, fermentation may continue and cause the lid to bulge; this is normal. Harmless white yeasts may form and can be skimmed off.
Directions:
Dissolve in a little water and add towards the end of cooking. Typically, 1 teaspoon seasons approximately 1 cup of liquid.
