Hunter & Gather Organic Beef Tallow is a traditional British cooking fat made from the suet of organic, grass-fed cattle. It is gently rendered to remove impurities before being cooled into a firm, pale tallow with a subtly beefy, buttery flavour. Its high smoke point makes it well suited to serious cooking. Use it to sear meat, fry food or roast potatoes and root vegetables until deeply golden and crisp. It can also be folded into pastry and savoury baking when a richer depth of flavour is desired.
