With its intensely aromatic, pine like perfume and woody depth, it holds its flavour beautifully through long cooking. This makes it perfect for slow-simmered casseroles, roasted meats, vegetable dishes, soups and tomato based sauces.
Grown from Rosmarinus officinalis, the leaves are harvested, gently dried and rubbed to retain their natural volatile oils. The result is a fragrant, full bodied herb with refreshing camphorous notes and warm, peppery undertones a staple in British, European and Middle Eastern cooking.
