Wainwright’s Organic Zambian Set Forest Honey is produced deep within the forests of Northwest Zambia, where beekeepers have worked in harmony with nature for generations. Bark hives are hung high in the trees to protect them from wildlife, allowing wild swarms to settle and fill the combs with uniquely flavoured, aromatic honey. After a year or two, beekeepers return to carefully harvest the honey, always leaving enough for the bees to continue thriving. The result is a richly textured, naturally set honey with warm, complex flavours shaped by the diverse forest flora. It's delicious stirred into porridge, spread onto warm toast, blended into dressings or used as a wholesome, natural sweetener in home baking.
