Vilgain 80% Chocolate Shards dark are delicious chocolate pieces with at least 80% cocoa solids content. Great for direct consumption or as an ingredient for cooking and baking. Criollo is the most prized variety, but it accounts for less than 5% of the world's cocoa production. These cocoa trees are very demanding to grow. However, the quality of their beans is incomparable to the classic varieties. They have a rich, creamy flavour without bitterness and a wide range of fruity, nutty and spicy flavour notes. We have added coconut sugar for a pleasantly sweet taste.
