1. 💪 Regular exercise: 150 minutes per week of moderate-vigourous aerobic exercise. Walk, swim, hike, stretch – whatever gets you moving. Daily exercise improves energy, sleep, brain health, stress levels, rippling good vibes throughout the body.

2. 🧠 Exercising the brain: One that is as important as physical exercise, exercising the brain! Challenging it 20-30mins daily via reading, learning a new language, volunteering, learning a new skill to increase cognitive reserve. All aiding the capacity to deal with cognitive decline and support overall mood.

3. 🥗 Healthy diet: A diet rich in nutrients that nourish and support the body through various physical & phycological changes. Fresh fruits and vegetables high in phytoestrogens, eating enough protein will support muscle loss and manage weight as the body adapts. Make sure the shopping basket contains meat, fish, and eggs, as well as legumes, nuts, and dairy for those following a meat-free diet.

4. 💤 Optimise recovery: We all know how important sleep is. Not only for your physical health - but most notably for your mental health, memory, cognitive functioning and recovery. Ensuring you get good sleep of 6-8 hours a night is vital.

5. 🤝 Stay connected: Keeping in touch with loved ones, friends and family. Maintaining socially connected and involved in activities has been proven to help support a positive mental health as well as regulating a positive mood.
