Why you'll love it

Shakshuka is one of the most famous Tunisian dishes. Its arabic meaning is mixture and its origins date back to the Berber times. It is a very versatile recipe which can be eaten for breakfast. lunch or dinner. We find it particularly well suited for grilled fish or chicken. It can be served as a side or with eggs and some harissa and bread. It is also very particularly on bread for a Mediterranean tartine. For a delicious finish, add a drizzle of a good extra virgin olive oil and some parsley leaves.

Another great recipe, is to add some Shakshuka on a toasted walnut bread and add some tuna and extra virgin olive oil.

It is made of sweet peppers, extra virgin olive oil,  tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, onions, sun-dried garlic, sundried peppers, salt and Tunisian spices. Moulins Mahjoub’s Shakshuka is organic as most of their range. As with all of the Mahjoub products, they are produced using traditional farming methods with no additives or artificial processes.
