When will the order arrive?

Ethical Butcher boxes will be shipped separate to your WellEasy order. Orders placed before Sunday 11:59pm every week will be shipped fresh the following Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday. You will receive an email and text with delivery details and a 2 hour delivery window. 

How is the order delivered?

The meat in each box is cut, packed and delivered fresh with 5 days of shelf life and is all suitable for home freezing. Each box is packed using recyclable Woolcool insulation and ice gel packs designed to keep the product cold for up to 48 hours. The box, insulation and ice packs can be returned to us for reuse, with information about how to do so available on our website.

About The Ethical Butcher

The Ethical Butcher is part of the "craft meat revolution" where meat is reared using regenerative farming practices to produce meat in the most natural way possible. We champion regenerative farming, by working with farms who are actively improving the environment by using their animals to rebuild complex ecosystems and restore nutrition to the soil, locking carbon into the ground. In the best cases these systems can lock away more carbon than the animals release making this carbon negative production, a real game changer in how we perceive the impact of meat.

Regenerative beef and lamb is predominantly and often exclusively pasture fed. It is also slower grown, achieving a deeper richer flavour that is linked to the land and the variety of herbs, grasses and wildflowers that the animals eat. The pork is free range, outdoor reared. The chicken is also free range, outdoor-reared and pasture fed and reared for a minimum of 81 days, longer than the organic standard.
