  1. Begin by frying garlic in a little olive oil. Then, stir through the tomato puree, harissa paste, can of chopped tomatoes, and smoked paprika.
  2. Add the queen butter beans in their juices and cook for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  3. Drizzle in fresh lemon juice and maple syrup (if using), and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook on low for 15 minutes until the tomato sauce has thickened.
  4. Serve immediately over sourdough bread with a generous glug of extra virgin olive oil, fresh herbs, and kefir yogurt.
