Having both fallen ill during university, Sonny and his childhood friend Josh had both decided to learn what living healthy actually meant. Listening to podcasts episodes with world leading nutritionists, and as many blogs as they could find, they soon encountered another huge problem.

Buying healthy and organic food here in the UK is difficult, confusing, and incredibly expensive — especially on a student budget. Having setups a few of their own companies during university, the pair decided to reunite back at Sonny’s family garage after graduating, and set out on a mission to make healthy living accessible for everyone.

Their first business stocked offices with healthy snacks or sent out care packages whilst everyone was working from home. From humble beginnings, they were fortunate enough to work with some amazing companies like Amazon, JP Morgan, MoneySupermarket and Deloitte. Despite the initial success they’d had together, something felt like it wasn’t quite right.

Making every effort to speak to their customers, the guys soon realised that they were doing nothing to really help these people live healthier. Some of the snacks they were sending out still had high sugar content and other unnecessary ingredients, and they were just ‘ticking a box’ for companies. As well as this, stories about the impact of poor lifestyle choices and Covid-19 were spreading everywhere. Obesity was thrown into the spotlight and the government endorsed and subsidised Vitamin D for the first time ever.
