Carrot and Ginger Smoothie

This anti-inflammatory and immune boosting smoothie is perfect for a summer breakfast or quick snack.

Tools:

  • mixing bowl
  • knife
  • chopping board

Ingredients:

  • 1 large ripe banana (previously peeled and frozen)
  • 1 small knob of ginger
  • 2/3 large carrots
  • 200ml of almond or coconut milk
  • Pinch of turmeric
  • Handful of ice cubes
  • 100ml of water (add more if needed)

Method:

  1. Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Add more water until desired consistency is reached.
  2. Enjoy!
