Maca Chia Seed Pudding
A hit of chia to start the day. This recipe is a great, simple breakfast idea which can be prepped the night before to make your mornings even smoother!
Chia seeds are packed with fibre, omega 3's and protein. Making them a great fuel to start the day. The added benefit of maca powder helps to regulate energy, mood and hormones.
Time: 5mins (set time 20mins or overnight)
- mason jar or small bowl
- chopping board
- 30g chia seeds
- 200-300ml plant-based milk
- 2 tsp maca powder
- 1 tbsp flaxseed
- 3-4 tbsp of yoghurt or coconut yoghurt
- 1 tbsp of almond butter
- Add the chia seeds and liquid into a jar or bowl. Mix well. Next add in the maca powder and flaxseed and place into the fridge to set, either over night or for 20mins.
- Once the chia pudding has set, add onto yoghurt, almond butter and strawberries.
- Serve and enjoy!
This recipe will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.
